You will find that we are a pretty relaxed group when you first meet us. There really is little reason for pretense. You will be greeted by our cat “Ping” and after you relax a little, hopefully, you will feel at home.
Then we will get to work.
We love what we do because we get to help people when they often feel like they are losing their family, their kids, their life as they know it. It’s tough. We have families of our own and understand the importance of family. We understand how fragile life can be, and how one day you can go from being on top of the world to wondering how low you can go. We’re here to help.
I have been a part of the San Marcos community since I started practicing law in 1991. My kids were raised here, and they loved being “small town.” San Marcos was a great place to raise a family. I was raised in El Paso, earned my political science degree from Texas Tech and graduated from the University of Texas School of Law. When not working or with family, you can probably find me trail running in Purgatory Creek in San Marcos. I enjoy the solitude that comes with running. The best runs are when I feel His presence and the peace that comes with that experience.

I have been working with Art for over ten years. I think we balance each other well. My primary goal is to tend to our client’s needs and assist Art with preparing for court. I am a wife, mother of two kids, proud Austinite, and Buffalo Bills fan. My goal is to make sure our clients always know what is going on with their case and that their questions are answered. I understand that we’re here to help people during their time of need, and I want them to know we’re with them.
